GBF Games: Superhero Edition – The City Has Been Saved

The results are in… and this season of GBF Games: Superhero Edition delivered.

For one full week, our studio transformed into a training ground for heroes. Civilians were saved. Villains were contained. Rubble was lifted. And most importantly — real strength was built.

This wasn’t about ego lifting.

It wasn’t about intimidation.

It was about control, precision, endurance, and showing up for yourself.

From Impact Calibration Protocol on Push Day to Hold the Line on squats and Last Line of Defense planks, every challenge was designed to build strength where it matters most — physically and mentally.

And our heroes rose to the occasion.

Bob competed in his first GBF Games and showed up strong!

🏆 The Top 3 “New Avengers” (First-Time GBF Games)

These heroes stepped into their first Games and made it count:

  • Bob – 31 Civilians Saved

  • Bill – 39 Civilians Saved

  • Tony – 20 Civilians Saved

There is something powerful about showing up to your first Games and committing fully. No comparison. No fear. Just effort.

That’s hero energy.

Bill banked the most ‘saves’ of the New Avengers!

🚨 Top 3 “Civilian Savers” (Most Points)

The city’s most prolific protectors this season:

  • Jen – 55 Civilians Saved

  • Danielle – 54 Civilians Saved

  • Jon – 47 Civilians Saved

Consistency. Endurance. Focus. These three stacked wins all week long.

In her second round of GBF Games, Danielle scored 2nd place in the challenges!

💥 Top 3 “PR Powerhouses” (Biggest Strength Gains)

Progress is measured in more than points — and these three crushed their personal records:

  • Jen – +250 lbs in total PR gains

  • Scott – +170 lbs in PR gains

  • Claudine – +122.5 lbs in PR gains

That’s not just improvement. That’s transformation in motion.

Scott crushed his past PRs AND wins best dressed for the week!

🌎 Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (Overall Strongest Performance)

This category combines points and performance — the full hero package:

  • Jen

  • Scott

  • Jon

And they didn’t get there by accident.

Jen swept every category imaginable, showing true strength comes from within!

Jen hit:

  • 215 lb hip thrusts

  • 145 lb cable crunches

  • 175 lb lat pulldowns

Scott hit:

  • 95 lb tricep pushdowns

  • 180 lb cable rows

  • 90 lb face pulls

Jon hit:

  • 65 lb cable flyes

  • 45 lb dumbbells for incline chest presses

  • 44 lb cross cable extensions

These are serious numbers — built with control, not chaos.

Tony showed up strong in his first GBF Games!

💙 And Here’s What I Love Most…

Because GBF Games isn’t just about podium spots.

It’s about growth.

Kara

Improved again since last quarter. Quietly stacking progress. Showing that consistency beats flash every single time.

Logan

Came in strong on Day One… and then was apparently called off-planet to save another galaxy for the rest of the week. (We’ll allow it.) When he’s here, he brings power.

Jasmine

A true weekly warrior. She doesn’t need to win categories — she shows up, does the work, and keeps building strength week after week.

Shaye

Pushed through some hard life moments this week and still chose to show up for herself. That’s heroism that doesn’t always get a trophy, but absolutely deserves recognition.

Danielle

54 civilians saved and +110 in PRs — steady, strong, and focused all week.

Claudine

25 civilians saved and +122.5 PR gain — proof that numbers on paper don’t tell the whole story.

Donnie

Had a victory at sea by completing his own workouts on a cruise with his partner.

Shaye showed up herself strong this week, and her progress despite life’s curveballs is something to be proud of!

Why GBF Games Matters

The point of these Games isn’t competition.

It’s community.

It’s giving people who may have once felt intimidated by gyms a space where:

  • Strength is celebrated

  • Modifications are respected

  • Progress is tracked

  • Effort is seen

This week, 12 heroes showed up.

And every single one left stronger than they arrived.

That’s the real win.

If you’re reading this and thinking, “I wish I could be part of something like that…”

You can.

Because at GBF Fitness, every body belongs — and every hero starts somewhere.

🦸‍♂️

Jon continues to be a powerhouse challenger as a founding GBF who still shows up strong to each of these games!
